They help in developing hormones including estrogen which results in menstruation. These ovaries release tiny eggs which further make their way to fallopian tube to be potentially fertilized. This is called ovulation. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can form in the ovaries. They generally occur during child bearing days. There are different types of cyst and the most common is functional cyst. It occurs during ovulation. It happens when either is not released or in which the egg forms doesn't dissolved after the egg is released. The other cysts are caused differently and have different side effects.

Kista endometriosis is painful disorder in which tissues which generally lies inside uterus grows outside uterus. It mostly involves ovaries, bowel or tissue lining pelvis. This is rarely infectious and bleeds with each menstrual cycle. When endometriosis gets involve with ovaries then endometriomas cyst are formed. This can cause irritation in tissue and develop abnormal tissue that binds organs together.It may cause severe pain and may give trouble in fertility.
